A Way to Stay Motivated

Being a work at Home Parent isn't an easy task, don't let anyone tell you it is. Sure you decide when, where and how you will work, you set your own hours but if you’re serious about working from home you have to work and learn when you need a break.

We've learned to recognize when we're feeling overwhelmed or we're stretching our time working too thin. Or that something just isn't working. You might be saying, yeah I know that feeling but what do I do to stay motivated in times like those?

Let us share with you what we do. We take a break! We evaluate what we're doing; if something seems not to work we look at it to see if it can be reworked in another direction. If the answer is no, then we let it go. We don't need to put more stress on our mind and bodies by trying to make it work.

We also need to remember we're not just a business, we're people too. People who need to take time to do other everyday things we enjoy.

How do we take a break? First we take few days off of NO WORK then we do a minimum amount of work for a few more days till we know we're over the hump.

Can almost hear you say, "I can't afford to take off from my home business." Let us assure you that you can and more importantly it’s in your best interest to, when you need a break. See if you don't take a break every so often you'll get burnt out and before you know it, your business will be down the tubes.

So if you want to work from home you have to stay motivated. And the best way to do that is to take breaks for other things you enjoy doing. Take care of your mind and body then your business will continue to grow and prosper.
