How long have you been in business? Since August 2004

Why did you decide to become a work at Home Mom? I had already made the decision to be a Stay At Home mom when my youngest son was born-and I am the type of person that can't just sit around doing laundry-so I decided to find something to keep me busy and I came across information that intrigued me regarding Child Safety and VIOLA! I decided to make it a priority in my life to help protect children.

Why did you chose the business you chose? I love children. I am tired of hearing and seeing horrid tragedy happening to young people because they just aren't prepared. My Child Safety products and Education help to prepare children and their parents to help protect them.

What's been the hardest part about being a Work at Home Mom? When you work at home no one understands that you are working. Even my husband hasn't quite figured it out yet-because I don't leave the house and go to work, people don't see that I need the same time, space, respect, privacy as if I were at an outside job-so that I can get my work done.

What's been the best part about being a work at home mom? Being home where my family needs me most-and seeing that we are still able to live and pay our bills and afford our home without me having to travel to an outside job.

If you could give other work at home moms 1 piece of advice what would it be? If you are truly serious about staying at home, you need to be realistic about what to expect. Plan and organize it in your head before you jump-and give yourself a break, it isn't going to be easy all the time-but the rewards justify everything! You CAN do it! You CAN make it! Just be positive and believe and it will all fall into place. There are so many opportunities out there and with the WWW, it just opens an infinite amount of them for you to explore. Have fun and enjoy your new life as a WAHM :)
