Interview with a Work at Home Mom

How long have you been in business? 7 Years

Why did you decide to become a work at Home Mom? My children were young and I did not want to have to put them in daycare. I saw a product I loved that I could use WITH the kids and even bring them with me, so I was hooked!

Why did you chose the business you chose? The Story Teller is the only business I ever considered. We have no quotas which is great for busy moms, and the fact that it is easy and something I love doing already (working with Moms and kids!) made it a really easy decision.

What's been the hardest part about being a Work at Home Mom? The hardest part is finding balance when there is so much I want to do with the business and not enough hours in the day to do all I want PLUS be a good Mom! I have to really pace myself or I will go nuts!

What's been the best part about being a work at home mom? The best part is the flexibility to take a day off if the kids need me, or take trips when we want to without having to ask a boss, and being able to accelerate my income whenever I need extra money or want to take it to the next level. You can't do that as easily with a regular job.

If you could give other work at home moms 1 piece of advice what would it be? My advice is to be persistent and never give up. Most WAHMs give up too soon when they don't get magical results right away. It takes time to hone your skills and spread the word, so learn what you can to be the best you can be and stick with it!
